Simply apply the rust accelerator with a sponge and the steel will have its signature colour in approximately 10 hours.

An alternative to our rust accelerator is to pre-degrease the Corten steel using a suitable cleaning agent. Next, apply a salt solution made by dissolving three large tablespoons of salt in 10 liters of warm water. Apply the salt solution generously using a plant sprayer or watering can. Please keep in mind that this method generally works slower than using our specially developed rust accelerator.
