This coloured-head screw for mounting Trespa® panels has a wide button head that provides an enormous clamping range. This allows you to mount facade panels securely. Coloured-head screws are also popularly referred to as screws for Trespa® panels or facade screws. The head of this screw is black (ral 9005) and approximately 12 mm wide. This is hardly noticeable if you install Trespa® panels or facade panels of the same colour. The length of this screw is 32 mm. Colour-head screws for Trespa® plates are made of stainless steel A2 steel. This prevents the screws from oxidising.
Mount Trespa® panels and pre-drill
It is important that Trespa® sheets are pre-drilled. The first screw that ensures that the plate stays in the right place, pre-drill with a hardwood drill bit 5.0 mm. The remaining screws are pre-drilled with a hardwood drill bit 8.0 mm. This ensures that the plate can work. Are you using a hardwood substructure? Then pre-drill the coloured-head screws with a 3.0 mm hardwood drill.
