Extending your Flex Fence slats? You can! Easily connect multiple Flex Fence slats using the Wovar Flex Fence Connector Stainless Steel. This practical connector is specially designed to extend your Flex Fence system. For example, do you have a Flex Fence of 50 cm and would you like to make it 1 meter long? No problem, with this Flex Fence Connector you can easily and invisibly connect two Flex Fence slats together.

Using the supplied coupling piece, you can even open and close both slats simultaneously. Would you prefer to operate the two slats independently? Simply leave out the coupling piece.

The connectors, like the rails, are made of stainless steel and therefore do not rust. This makes them perfect for use in roofs, verandas or fences. The Flex Fence Connectors are unique in their kind and exclusively available at Wovar.

Installing the Flex Fence Connector Stainless Steel

The connector makes it easy to connect Flex Fence slats together. The connectors feature a U-profile that fits perfectly into the U-profile of the Flex Fence slats. The U-profile of the connector is already provided with three mounting holes.

First, remove the screws from the Flex Fence slats. Then place the connector between the two slats and reinsert the same screws through the mounting holes of both the slats and the connector.

Please note: extra spacing when extending Flex Fence

When extending Flex Fence slats using connectors, a larger gap between the slats may occur by default. This is caused by the hole spacing in the underlying U-profile, which has a centre-to-centre distance of 115 mm. In addition, there is 15 mm of space at both the top and bottom of the profile.

To prevent this extra spacing, one of the two Flex Fence slats can be shortened by 30 mm. The additional mounting holes in the Flex Fence Connector are specifically designed for this adjustment.

Tip: shorten the Flex Fence slat before installing the connector to achieve correct spacing and a clean, tight end result.
